Analytical Measurement Range Coagulation Assay Set

Thank you for your interest in the AMR Coagulation Set.  We are excited about this set and the benefits it offers your laboratory.

The AMR Coagulation Set includes three levels of assayed plasmas:

·         Normal range

·         Mid range

·         Low abnormal range

The set includes assay values for the following analytes requiring AMR testing:

·         ATIII (Antithrombin)

·         Plasminogen,

·         vWF antigen,

·         Protein C Antigen

·         Protein S Antigen

Assay values accompany each order.  These plasmas may be used to meet the guidelines recently added to the CAP Hematology and Coagulation Checklist. This set offers 30 x 1 mL vials with multiple assay levels in a conveniently prepackaged set.  The plasmas are fresh frozen and ready to use.  Since they are FDA registered, they may be used without limitation.

EVALU-VIII Set

Evaluate every part of your factor VIII curve. Evalu-VIII Set contains five assayed plasmas with varying levels of factor VIII activity. Plasmas should be used as factor VIII controls only. These fresh frozen plasmas are stored at -70° C. Plasmas in this set are tested and found non-reactive for HIV and HBsAg.

The set includes:

3 X 1.0 mL – F VIII Level: Borderline
3 X 1.0 mL – F VIII Level: Mild
3 X 1.0 mL – F VIII Level: Moderate

Valid Sets (Factor Specific)

Validate your Factor Assays! Meet regulatory requirements for validation using these Factor Specific Valid Sets. Each set contains four assayed plasmas with varying levels of the factor you need to validate.

Factor Specific Valid Sets can be used:

• In setting up factor assays on a new instrument
• In comparing factor assay curves between instruments
• In validating your factor curves when changing reagents and/or reagent lot numbers
• To assist in the troubleshooting of factor assays

Each set includes:

Multi Coumadin Set

The MULTI COUMADIN® SET includes 5 x 1.0 ml vials each of five different plasmas with varied INR values. Donors are on therapeutic doses of Coumadin®. This set of plasmas may be used for a variety of applications in the coagulation and thrombosis laboratory. Plasmas in this set are tested and found non-reactive for HIV, HCV and HBsAg.

HiPTTCOR Set

High PTT Correlation Set

Having trouble finding enough elevated PTT plasmas to use for your correlations studies? The HiPTTCOR Set contains 10 different abnormal plasmas with PTT values ranging from 50-125 seconds. A data sheet is included with each set.

Uses for the HiPTTCOR Set:

·         Correlate PTT values between multiple instruments

·         Correlate PTT values on new instrument with current instrument

·         Correlate values using new reagent with current reagent (lot to lot)
